Please keep in mind that in order to become a certified EMS professional, you must do all of the following:
- Pass a DSHS approved course, such as ones offered by the Longhorn Student EMS Education Program
- Pass the appropriate National Registry Exam
- Apply for a Texas EMS certification

Once you have the criminal background check and immunization forms, turn it in to any of the officers or e-mail it (with photocopies of all documents) to Keith Gaines (kgaines@lhsems.org). Tuition will be turned in on the first day of class. For those of you who already have information that you would like to turn in on hand, you can slide it under the door at the LHSEMS office in SSB 4.102H or come by during office hours (view Contact Us page).
