ANNOUNCEMENTS:

New Officers

Effective 1 Apr 2010, the Director of LHS EMS will be Scott Hebert and the Director of Operations will be John Suffredini. Congratulations to our newly elected officers. Over the course of the next two weeks, they will be selecting new Captains to lead our EMT corps in the field and assist the administration. If you are interested in becoming a Captain, please contact Scott and John at shebert@lhsems.org and jsuffredini@lhsems.org, respectively. We are very excited about what the future holds for LHS EMS and about the impact these two individuals and their incoming officers can have on our organization.

Summer EMT-B Course

I have received a number of e-mails from individuals interested in obtaining EMT-B certification via our summer program. Please visit the Prospective EMT Students page, found in the left toolbar. You may complete and turn in all portions of the application except for the criminal background check at your leisure. The criminal background check must be completed within 60 days of the start date of the summer course, which is projected to be during the first week of June 2010. Application materials may be e-mailed or mailed directly to Keith Gaines, whose contact information can be found in the link on the Prospective EMT Students page.

The course will be held MWF 4-7p, which differs from our Spring and Fall semesters.
